Pike County Resident of the Year – Kitiara Murry

Kitiara has achieved great things this year.  With the help of VR, she is working in the community and arranges and pays for her own transportation.  She has remained active in our Creative Arts Center.  She displays and sells her creations at public events.  Kitiara has been able save up enough money to plan and take vacations with her family and friends.  She is currently working on the skills needed to transition from group home living to her own apartment which I have no doubt she will be able to achieve.
